Since FNUG is so well-loved, and I wear it so often myself, I thought it was the time for a new one. First, the yoke is knitted back and forth along the back. Next, stitches are picked up to knit the shoulders and front panels, also back and forth. Then the front and back are joined to close the armholes and form the body. This body is then knitted entirely back and forth. The ribbing at the armholes are knitted in the round later on, after picking up stitches around the armholes.
