In my mind, it simply wouldn’t knit well: the little beads would interrupt the smooth flow of knitting, and the metallic or plastic element of the yarn would take away the softness of a knitted fabric. Despite these limiting beliefs, I decided to give it a try, and I immediately fell in love. The yoke is started at the back and worked flat. Each shoulder is then worked separately, also flat. Next, the shoulders are joined to shape the front yoke. After that, the front and back are joined to close the armholes and form the body, which is then worked completely in the round. The sleeves are worked in the round later on, after picking up stitches around the armholes.
