FNUG means ‘fluff’ in Danish. I chose this name because I wanted to create a fluffy design. One that feels light but still provides a warm layer, and one that can be worn over a tank top or T-shirt in every season of the year.
This FNUG is a new addition to the FNUG series, coming after the slipover from 2025. Since FNUG is so well-loved, and I wear it so often myself, I thought it was the time for a new one. One with the same versatility and wearability, one with the same blend of casual and elegance, one that offers both comfort and style.
This FNUG vest is knitted top down. First, the yoke is knitted back and forth along the back. Next, stitches are picked up to knit the shoulders and front panels, also back and forth. Then the front and back are joined to close the armholes and form the body. This body is then knitted entirely back and forth. The ribbing at the armholes are knitted in the round later on, after picking up stitches around the armholes. Finally, the button band is knitted after picking up stitches along both front panels and the neckline.
After purchasing this product, you will receive by mail the digital version of the pattern of this design.
